I read the Millennium Trilogy last year and fell in love with the series. Lisbeth Salander became my favorite book heroine. I watched the Swedish film and praised Noomi Rapace for her portrayal of Lisbeth.

As a best selling novel, of course there would be an American version of the film. The director chose Rooney Mara to play Lisbeth and Daniel Craig to play Blomkvist. I hope this adaptation would be as good as the book and the other film. Just seeing this photo of Rooney Mara in character on W Magazine

Let's see if it would come out better in the movie. The film is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2011.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

I should be doing my Basic Computer Concepts so called research paper instead of this. However, I can't help but rant about some things in my life. lol

Seriously, I was really mad this morning. I had this class which I don't really like or should I say I really hate. I'm not pertaining to the subject which is Discrete Math (I like Math!), it was this block section where we were enrolled unfortunately.

These kids are really annoying. They are so noisy everytime our professor is discussing our lesson. They keep on hovering around the classroom like stupid dogs. There's also this stupid boy who keeps on making stupid remarks to our teacher. Most of them are so stupid. And fucking disrespectful.

I didn't mean to be evil. I'm just telling the truth.

I don't know why it's very hard for them to respect our professor or even just those students who wanted to learn. Our professor is very kind and has this long patience which I don't really have when it comes to those kind of people. Some will mock you and some are just disgusting like their face.

It's obvious that I'm really mad. 

Well, who the hell will not when your friend was insulted by one of them. I was also insulted the fact that they won't listen.

If you can't respect others just shut your fucking mouth.

When I was browsing for a new tv series that's worth watching, I saw a review about this new show inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. Last year, I read the book (which was awesome!) so I'm quite interested in this new series. I'm fond of Sherlock Holmes' adventure with Dr. Watson in the book. I borrowed the book from my close friend Yumi who likes classic fiction books. That was a thick one and the print was quite small. It took me a month before I finished it!

Sherlock was awesome (just like the book)! I watched it with my boyfriend and I'm happy he liked it too. Since it was inspired by the classic fiction novel, the theme of the series was the usual adventure of the two main characters at solving crimes but with a modern twist. I liked the concept of a contemporary story and having suitable actors for Sherlock and the other characters. I think the actors were great portraying the classic characters. They gave justice for the two (unlike Sherlock Holmes, the movie, though RDJ and Jude Law were great actors as well).

Sherlock Holmes was played by Benedict Cumberbatch and Dr. John Watson by Martin Freeman. I'd say they have chemistry! They played the role well which made the show more adventurous and interesting. We had some good laughs and eventually imade us sleepy. hihi! The first season only had three episodes. Each was a good hour and a half! Since the series had good reception and high ratings, the second season is scheduled to broadcast this autumn. I'm excited! Watched this cute Thai movie last night!

I was scrolling on my dash for some stuff to reblog on my Tumblr when this one caught my attention. According to the description, this movie is all about puppy love. I'm a sucker for romantic comedy films so when I scrolled and saw that there's a link where I could watch it, I didn't hesitate and watched it. 

The movie was about Nam (Pimchanok Leuwisetpaiboon), a freshman and ugly girl that had a huge crush with the school's heartthrob named Chon (Mario Maurer). With the help of her friends, Nam transformed from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. It was a struggle for her to become closer to Chon because other girls are more beautiful and talented than her. Eventually, she started to get closer to Chon when she got associated with Chon's bestfriend. However, there's something she didn't know about Chon that might have surprised her. 

I really liked this movie. It's a combination of romance, comedy and drama. I had some good laughs as well especially in those scenes with the teacher. I remembered my highschool days while watching the movie. You'd do everything to get noticed by your crush even though it would make you look stupid at times. Although the plot was the typical, like the girl-loves-boy-but-girl-doesn't-know-boy-loves-girl-too movies, it's still one memorable movie. 

This movie made me swoon at some parts especially when Nam was so kilig at those little things that Chon did for her. Of course, Mario Maurer is one cute guy you'd definitely notice. (The bf won't read this, right? lol) The actress who played Nam really looked like Kim Chiu. I liked how they did the transformation on her. She looked different portraying the younger Nam.

They look cute together! ♥

I recommend this movie to those who like romantic comedy flicks and those hopeless romantics who want to remember the times they did stupid things to get noticed by their first love! :)

Artemis Fowl 3-book boxed set (The Rise of the Criminal Mastermind) 

December break is over but I'm not so enthusiastic about it. It's back to school again which I really don't wanna talk about because when I arrived at school a while ago, I don't have any class anymore. I only have one class today which is too bad it only lasts an hour. Did I just talk about school? lol

So, the disappointed I just went to the mall in front of the school to reward myself. I went to Tony & Jackey to get my hair done! And now, here's the new hairstyle.

Just ignore the face! I'm really satisfied with their service. The Korean stylist who did my hair was really nice and she knew what would look good on me. I showed her the photo of the hair I want. I told her I want a side fringe. She cut it too long which didn't look like bangs anymore. She said if she cut it too short it wouldn't look good on me (I just translated that for her because she doesn't speak too much english). She's nice because she still cut it a little shorter for me. Then after the whole styling session she asked me, "you like?" I smiled and answered yes with a thumbs up! My hair is still long despite the layers in front which I really like. I can't find a nice photo of my before hair so just look at the new hair again! : )

By the way, my hair smells good today! I like the smell of their shampoo/conditioner.
