It was October last year when I decided to buy a menstrual cup. I searched online and found the Sinaya Cup which I believe is the only one so far available locally. So why all of a sudden I wanted to try the menstrual cup?

If you know me, you would know that I'm an avid coffee drinker although I'm not the type who regularly goes to popular coffee shops. As long as I have my everyday coffee fix (my favorite "3 in 1" coffee is Nescafe Blend and Brew, red one!), I am solved! However, when I heard that a new coffee shop called Coffee Project opened recently at Vista Mall Taguig, I got so excited to visit the place.


Before we even visited Coffee Project, I already saw some of the instagram-worthy photos of the coffee shop's interior. When we arrived there, I was surprised that the place is so spacious. I really like how cozy the place is. They don't only have tables but there are also comfortable couches. The inside is very homey and such a great place to hang out with friends and families. Since Vista Mall here in Taguig is more like a small town mall, you won't see a lot of corporate workers or people in a hurry to buy their coffee.

The first time I went to Coffee Project was last December with my boyfriend. We wanted to sit on one of the couches but they are already occupied even after we left. Next time I visited was with my high school friends, and this time we got to sit on the couch. I liked it better there because it has a nice background great for photo ops! :)


I don't have much to say about their coffee other than they are cheaper and sweeter compared with the popular coffee shops. They also serve food and pastries. I'd say the coffee and the food are reasonably priced. Besides the cozy interior and the rustic feel of the place, what I like most about Coffee Project are the lighting and the witty coffee quotes that you can find all over the place. First let me greet the readers of this blog (if there's any haha) a happy Happy New Year! I think I ate a lot on new year's eve that's why I am so motivated to update this blog. Well I kinda miss blogging. I have lots of things to share - new experiences, travels, new restaurants, books, movies, tv series, random things, etc. I need an outlet again because I would love to look back one day and read what I wrote and I know it would make me feel inspired again to face life in general.

Okay, that's a bit dramatic. I just want to document the things I am planning to start this year, hence the title. I have some in mind and hopefully I can update this post when I think of something new to start this year. Of course you can start anytime but the thought of a brand new year to start on things to do is more motivating and encouraging. Yeah, so here goes my list:

• 52 Weeks Money Challenge - I put it at the top of my list because I really want to finish it at the end of the year. My priority this year and the years to come is to save money to build a new house for our family. Our house is a pamana to my papa by our grandparents so it's old and needs huge renovation. Instead of renovation, my dream is to give my parents and our family a new home. 

Super late post about our trip to Boracay last May! Yeah I know, it's already August but it's not too late to post about our adventure in Boracay. Actually I will just be sharing the video I made and some of my favorite photos of our trip.

First, I want to greet everyone a happy and prosperous New Year! Yes I know it's already Feb but some have just celebrated Chinese new year so I am not too late on my greeting yet. I was so busy the past couple of weeks because I have a new job! Finally after two years of working hard, thank you Lord for this blessing.

Last year was pretty good with me. A lot of first times and traveling I guess. I'm hoping I can travel more this year and do things I haven't experienced. For motivation, here's a look back to my 2015.

Here I am with the QA team. It was a good start of the year when I received the news that I got in to the QA post in my previous company. The best however was meeting these two.

My first time wakeboarding!

This was fun! My previous company held the summer outing at Nuvali so we had the chance to try out wakeboarding for free. I'd love to go back there.

One of the highlights of my 2015 was when we went to Baguio last May to celebrate our anniversary. It was my first time in Baguio so I was really excited for this trip.

A bit foggy. Not sure if it was really fog/smog or just my camera phone. hehe

For our anniversary dinner we went to Cafe by the Ruins Dua. D loved their hot chocolate. Of course we tried their strawberry shortcake.

We had the chance to try the Treetop Adventure and I would definitely recommend you try this out the next time you plan to go to Baguio.

After our canopy and silver surfer ride in Treetop, we went to Choco-late de Batirol for lunch and for our hot choco fix. It was really cold that afternoon because it rained and we're soaked from the treetop rides.

I so love this photo with the St. Bernard in Mines View Park. The dog was so sweet to us that he/she (not sure with the gender) pushed himself to us so we can carry him. :)

It was my first time to attend the Manila International Book Fair last September. Happy gal there with the boyfriend and more books.

Last year was the boom of adult coloring books and I jumped on the bandwagon.

Even back in high school and college I already love writing and hand lettering so when I saw brush lettering photos on Instagram I thought it's something I can learn. Well after a few months of practicing, I made progress but I'm not yet a pro.

Of course, I won't forget our trip to Hundred Islands last November. I posted about our experience on my previous post so go and read!

Another year had passed and a new year to look forward to. I'm hoping for more adventure and great experiences to share with my loved ones this year. Happy 2016!
